SERVPRO Assist with Storm Cleanup in Cincinnati

After a storm, the cleanup isn’t always as simple as picking up twigs and rolled over trash cans. A previous storm in Cincinnati went terribly awry due to a massive amount of rain in a short period of time. When a storm causes flooding, it might be necessary to call in professionals who are trained to clean this level of mess.

The storm in Cincinnati led to flooded streets and basements. SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties were requested to join the storm team in Cincinnati. The team spent a week removing water from basements and drying out structures. The area was difficult to navigate due to road closures, major debris, and minimal resources available, but the team made it work.

“Our team was lucky enough during this event to have a hotel and easily accessible gasoline,” explained Office Manager Diana Hill. “We also had a place to discard debris safely.”
